Planning a trip out West? Tamboo Beside The Pointe is one of the most
recognizable bar and grills in Rincón and also offers a full service hotel, bar and
restaurant. With 8 available rooms that can accommodate up to 6 people and
the infamous SeaSide Grill Restaurant and its accompanying bar the Tamboo
Tavern, you’re sure to enjoy what the western half of the island has to offer.
As a local favorite the Tamboo Tavern offers a variety of house drinks like the
jibarito martini, a drink made with light rum, sour apple liquor and “acerola” juice;
the purple haze; the tamboo wave, a drink made with hiponotic, light rum, sour
mix and passion fruit; passion boricua; la isla verde; tamboo mary; apple martini;
sex on the beach; costa azul and black out.
One of their most popular attractions is Beside The Pointe’s happy hours. On
Monday, you’ll find open microphone nights where anyone is welcome on the
karaoke stage to sing their favorite song. Cold feet? No worries, they offer Happy
Hour from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. to loosen up your vocal chords. On Fridays they
offer live music and happy hour from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., and finally, Saturday is DJ
night playing all of today’s popular music with happy hour again from 10 p.m. to 1
a.m.,.

with the addition of an ocean side dining. The chef’s specialties at the are the:
Caspicata Mahi, a local fish served fresh and in a caper-butter sauce. Or try the
Tamboo Baby Back Ribs, a famous recipe grilled to perfection with Guava BBQ
Sauce and don’t forget the Tamboo Burger, a homemade half pound burger of
select beef with their special “sofrito”.

as the ‘Road to Happiness’ in Rincon. If you’ve found the beach, your almost
