Soleil: A worthwhile trip to Piñones

Trying to get into Piñones on a Sunday afternoon can
be a pretty difficult task.  That’s because every
weekend, especially on Sundays, people flock to this
small, coastal sector in the town of Loíza to eat, drink,
dance and be merry in any of the many local
restaurants and kiosks populating the area.

“But Soleil is different,” says Sergio López, one of the
owners and founders of Soleil Beach Club, a Piñones
restaurant that prides itself in being the first
gastronomical locale in Loíza.  

Originally drawn in by the beauty of Piñones and its
festive nature, Argentinians Sergio López and Juan
Pablo Tibiletti founded Soleil nearly a decade ago.

Brass Cactus draws big crowd with daily  Happy Hours

Loíza and Luquillo are the two municipalities
that make-up the northeast region of the
island. These municipalities, distinguished by
their beautiful beaches and historic past, are
proudly represented by the Brass Cactus Bar
and Grill. The establishment has become a
staple in these communities with its
unambiguous western theme, excellent food
and one of the best happy hours on the
island.
       
    Brass Cactus offers daily Happy Hours
from 4 pm to 6 pm at both locations, where all
the appetizers and drinks are 50% off. On
Fridays, they have karaoke in Luquillo, from
10 pm to 2 am, not to mention women drink

South Shore beach worth the trip from San Juan

South Shore is Playa Santa (Holy Beach) in
Guanica. The sand is white and the water
clear and tranquil making it the perfect place
to relax, go swimming or just have a good
time.
